BROOK PARK, Ohio - Investigators said a fire at a trucking company in Brook Park that caused major traffic issues was intentionally set by a worker.
A spokesman with the Ohio State Fire Marshal's Office said an employee at Valley Sterling Trucks, located at West 150th Street and Brookpark Road, made statements implicating himself in the fire.
The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office said city charges were filed against 54-year-old William Crawley of Canton. His bond was set Tuesday at $150,000. The case has been bound over to the county's grand jury.
The fire started just before 6 a.m. on the morning of Monday, Aug. 6.
As a result of the fire, West 150th Street and Brookpark Road and West 150th north to the I-480 ramp was closed for most of the day
No one was hurt in the fire.
Crawley's preliminary hearing has been set for Aug. 20.
