The Hot Sauce Williams restaurant on Carnegie Avenue was the scene of a shootout on Friday night.

Police say a couple were at the restaurant trying to sell a hoverboard using the OfferUp app when the buyers were robbed. After stealing the hoverboard, police say two men opened fire on the couple while fleeing in a silver vehicle.

The couple was found by police sitting in the grass near a truck with bullet holes in it. Police say both were taken to University Hospitals and are in stable condition.

One of the shooting victims, a 25-year-old man, was shot in the side of the face. The other, a 21-year-old woman, was shot in the foot.

Authorities say the hoverboard was valued at around $700.
