Two men who allegedly robbed a Huntington Bank on Cleveland's east side are believed to be the suspects in two previous July robberies in Maple Heights and Shaker Heights.
Around 10:20 a.m., two masked men walked into the Huntington Bank on East 185th Street armed with pistols and demanded money from the tellers. The tellers complied and no injuries were reported.
The suspects left the bank and fled in a Dodge Stratus with Ohio plate GUR-1450, which was stolen yesterday out of Warrensville, according to police.
Police have said the first suspect is described as a black man, about 6 feet tall and weighing around 150 pounds. He was wielding a black revolver in today's robbery and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with "The Word Church" written in white across the chest, a blue bandana on his face and dark pants.
The second suspect is also described by police as a black man, about 6 feet tall and weighing around 160 pounds. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt, a white bandana and light pants. Both suspects were wearing blue latex gloves during the robbery.
According to police, the first robbery the men are suspected of happened on July 20 at a Key Bank in Maple Heights. The second robbery was at a Key Bank in Shaker Heights on July 29.
The Cleveland Division of the FBI and Cleveland Division of Police are requesting the public's help in identifying the two individuals. Reward money is being offered for the successful identification and prosecution of the individuals responsible for this robbery.
The Key Bank in Shaker Heights have posted an additional $10,000 reward for the identification of the suspects of the bank robbery that occurred today.
