Some 70,000 fans are expected to be in downtown Cleveland Tuesday night for the first home game of the Cavaliers and the first game of the 2016 World Series.
"Anticipated crowds at these events combined with the evening work commute will cause traffic delays. In order to improve traffic flow, the Division of Police will be implementing No Parking designations," said a news release from the City of Cleveland.
No parking on both sides of the streets for both Game 1 and Game 2 of the World Series:
Prospect Avenue from Ontario Street to East 14th Street
Huron Road from Ontario Street to Prospect Avenue
Bolivar Road from East 9th Street to East 14th Street
East 9th Street from Superior Avenue to Carnegie Avenue
East 4th Street from Huron Road to Prospect Avenue
The RTA also said it was expanding service for all of the World Series games and watch parties.
"RTA employees will be on hand to direct customers and sell a $5 round trip, commemorative World Series pass," said RTA Spokesperson Linda Krecic.
The passes will be sold at the busiest stations. Krecic also said service on all rail lines will operate up to 60 minutes after the game or watch parties and even if the game goes into extra innings.
