WESTLAKE,Ohio - Cleveland Browns fans started early this season partying in parking lots.
On Friday, it was in PNC Bank parking lots, though and Crocker Road was hopping with Browns fans.
Branch manager Bryan Skolny said PNC has partnered with the Browns for four weeks to bring tailgates to its customers.
"We're really excited to kick off the first of four tail gate parties for the 2013 season," Skolny said. "PNC is proud to be the official bank of the Cleveland Browns and this event is the first. We're expecting hundreds today. We're also excited to be activating our new PNC debit card. It's got the brown and orange, the helmet and everything."
The Cleveland Browns staff brought their best party gear to lure Browns fans into the tailgate scene, but it wasn't necessary. Browns fans can sniff out a good tailgate party.
Brian Randolph's wife heard of the tailgate invitation by the Browns and PNC at her place of business. She called him immediately. He wore his best Browns hat with a built-in orange mohawk on top.
"My wife called me and said there was a tailgate party for the Browns, so why not show up? I'm probably going to be working this weekend and this may be my only chance to party for the Browns," Randolph said
The Browns have their website PaintTheTownBrown.com up and running for information on exclusive Browns experiences.
