WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, Ohio - A police chase ended with shots fired after a hit-and-run suspect fled North Randall Police Sunday night.
The Ohio Attorney General's Office confirmed that a North Randall police officer fired shots during the incident, but the suspect is still at large and it is not known if he was hit.
The reason for the officer firing is still under investigation, the office adds.
The incident started with a hit and run Miles Road and Northfield Road in North Randall. Police chased the suspect to 4351 Northfield Road, where the shots were fired.
