The manager of an East Cleveland pizza shop says an attempted smash and grab at the restaurant won't keep them from opening.

Burglars smashed a vehicle into the front of Angela Mia Pizza on Euclid Avenue multiple times Tuesday morning, attempting to gain access to an ATM.

Ryan Cipriani, the store manager, told newsnet5.com that the security video shows the suspects made three attempts to crash through the wall before making it in.

But they weren't able to get away with the ATM because it's anchored in place, the store manager said.

Luckily, the crash really only affected the lobby of the restaurant.

Despite the shattered window, Angela Mia Pizza will be open for business Tuesday at 11 a.m.

And, according to a recent Facebook post, the business plans to open a new location at 728 Richmond Rd., in Richmond Heights.
