Brooklyn police are investigating a smash and grab of an ATM that occurred at the BP at the corner of Tiedeman and Brookpark roads just after 5 a.m. Thursday.
Tim Ianni was across the street at the Speedway when he saw the large Ford van smash into the store and three people jump out and take the ATM.
"They had thick hoodies on and they were wearing gloves and masks," Ianni told newsnet5.com. "They went in with single purpose determination."
The store's front window was shattered and police were seen recovering what evidence they could find including some blood that Ianni said he saw splattered near the front door.
The suspects got away before police arrived.
