Brave South Euclid Police lieutenant rescues fawn from fence, gets a hoof to the chin

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio - A South Euclid Police lieutenant "is all smiles despite a stray hoof to the face," a department Facebook post begins.

Lt. Wilson and another officer were freeing a fawn from a fence on Langerdale Road when the fawn kicked him in the face with "the wallop of a Daniel LaRusso crane kick."

Despite the "occupational hazard," as Wilson put it, the two officers were able to free the fawn within a few minutes.
