Warrant issued for Little Italy robbery suspect

A manhunt is underway for 20-year-old Johnchez Phillips, one of three men accused of committing a string of armed robberies two weeks ago.

Police believe Phillips is the one who pistol-whipped a priest in Little Italy while trying to steal his car. The arrest warrant details a string of robberies that police believe that Phillips committed.

The U.S. Marshals are now involved in tracking down Phillips. 

Cleveland police are still trying to identify the other two suspects. 

Phillips is 6 feet tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has brown hair and black hair.

He should be considered armed and dangerous, the U.S. Marshals said.
