CLEVELAND - A Cleveland man sentenced to life in prison for holding Amanda Berry, Gina Dejesus and Michelle Knight captive over a decade and raping them repeatedly has been moved again.
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction website showed Ariel Castro was moved this week from the Lorain Correctional Institution in Grafton to the Correctional Reception Center in Orient, south of Columbus.
Officials have said that Castro won't go into the general population once he enters the state's prison system.
He'll start his term isolated from other inmates for his own protection because of his high profile. He'll undergo medical and mental health evaluations.
Castro's home was torn down Wednesday as part of a deal that spared Ariel Castro a possible death sentence. (See images of the demolition - http://5.wews.com/nK08G )
He was sentenced last week to life in prison plus 1,000 years.
