Alleged east Cleveland serial killer Michael Madison pleaded 'not guilty' in 2nd arraignment
CLEVELAND, Ohio - Convicted sex offender 36-year-old Michael Madison pleaded not guilty killing three East Cleveland women in court Thursday.
The Cuyahoga County Grand Jury re-indicted Madison because prosecutors are now seeking the death penalty in the case.
That's why Madison was arraigned for the second time.
Madison has been charged with 14 counts including six counts of aggravated murder in the deaths Shetisha Sheeley, Angela Deskins and Shirellda Terry.
The women's bodies were found in trash bags in East Cleveland in July.
Michael Madison is expected back in court for his pre-trial hearing November 5.
He's being held without bond.
