CLEVELAND - Over 1,000 vehicles filling 1 million square feet at the I-X Center is taking place. This is the 47th annual event for the Auto-Rama and this year they combined the Piston Power Show to make it the biggest Auto-Rama ever held.
"If a piston makes it go, it is in the show," said show manager Steve Legerski.
There are plenty of different vehicles for the car enthusiast to enjoy. Any type of car that you want to see it is available to take a close up look at. There are classic cars, race cars, motorcycles and even planes to see.
For military buffs, there will be a large presence of vehicles. This year there will be a special tribute to Ohio's Wounded Warrior Monument.
The Greater Akron Model T Club will be on hand to take you back in time by completely assembling a model T in about 3 minutes.
While we were there, they put the car together in 2 minutes and 41 seconds. The Model T was in parts on the floor as the team worked on it as if it was on pit row at a NASCAR race.
With a couple of cranks on the engine, it fires right up. Frank Krajcovic, president of the club, said, "it's a family affair and we do it for the preservation of the Model T."
