GENEVA, Ohio - A family is expected to survive after an explosion at their Geneva home Wednesday morning.
Fire crews at the scene along South Cedar Road said the couple and their son smelled gas and then some type of explosion happened.
The explosion heavily damaged the initial home as well as a neighbor's home, firefighters said.
Gas and fire crews remain at the scene but they said the situation was under control by 3:05 a.m.
The three people inside at the time of the explosion were transported to Geneva Medical Center.
