ASHTABULA, Ohio - Investigators at the Ashtabula County Coroner's Office have ruled the suspicious death of an elderly woman as a homicide.
The woman's body was found March 30 by a neighbor.
The neighbor of a 82-year-old Mary Martinchuk of Austinburg Township found the her body lying on the floor of the home during a routine check.
The neighbor told police when he went to check in with Martinchuk he discovered her door was unlocked. When he went inside he found her body.
The neighbor immediately called 911.
Ashtabula County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death.
