ASHTABULA, Ohio - The Ashtabula Animal Protective League needs to find homes for dogs brought in from animal control, as adoptions are slow; otherwise dogs will have to be euthanized.
As it stands, it is overcrowded. In a matter of five days the organization has received 31 dogs from their animal control officers.
The hope of workers there is that the community will pitch in and offer safe new homes for the pooches.
