LOUDONVILLE, Ohio - Authorities are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the man who robbed a Loudonville bank last month.
The robbery happened at about 4:21 p.m. on April 23 at the First Merit Bank branch in the village that sits in Ashland and Holmes counties.
FBI Special Agent Vicki Anderson said the man wore a dark brown, hooded Carhartt-type coat that was pulled up high around his neck. It covered his mouth and chin, while a black hat covered his forehead. Anderson said the man, who was about 17 to 20 years old, also had a black sock over his hand and indicated he had a gun.
The suspect got away by jumping into the truck of an older-model, green car, according to the FBI.
Anyone with information about the robbery should contact the Mansfield FBI officer at 419-525-2200.
