911 call: Woman held in Ashland home tells police 'I've been abducted'

A woman was rescued early Tuesday from a home in Ashland after she called 911, saying she had been abducted.

When police arrived at the home where the woman was being held, they found the bodies of two other women.

Police identified one of those women as 43-year-old Stacey Stanley. The other body has not yet been identified.

Grate was scheduled to appear in court Friday at 3 p.m. During the bond hearing, Judge Ronald P. Forsthoefel set Grate's bond at $1 million. When asked if he agreed to the conditions set by the bond, Grate replied, "Sounds fair."

According to the prosecutor's office, Grate held the woman who was found alive against her will from Sept. 11 to Sept. 13 "for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity."

According to court documents, Grate killed Stanley sometime between Sept. 8 and the day her body was found. The other woman was killed sometime on or after Aug. 16.
