WASHINGTON - The White House woke up to day two of increased security following Monday's explosions in Boston.
We can easily see armed Secret Service Agents on the White House rooftop who became increasingly visible Monday evening following the explosion at the Boston Marathon.
Agents securing the rooftop are routine, but never this visible.
In addition, the section of Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House remains closed to pedestrians.
Law enforcement vehicles are blocking access and armed officers are standing guard.
So far, there have been no incidents in the Washington, D.C. area and tourists continue to flock to the U.S. Capitol where tours continue.
