CLEVELAND - Two Cuyahoga County Board of Revisions employees falsified their timesheets dozens of times this year, according to reports released by the Cuyahoga County Agency of the Inspector General Wednesday afternoon.
The reports said employees Margaret Berichon and hearing officer Roger Kramer violated county rules and should now face "potential disciplinary action up to and including termination."
The reports said Kramer and Berichon falsified timesheets so they could arrive late and leave early from their jobs.
The reports said a records review found Kramer had 129 timesheet discrepancies and Berichon had 121 timesheet discrepancies during 2012.
The Board of Revisions rules on homeowners' challenges to property value assessments.
The department was overhauled by Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerard last year in the wake of corruption scandals.
Inspector General Nailah Byrd is recommending more oversight of the department's employees as a result of the latest issues.
