LORAIN, Ohio - A 5 On Your Side investigation has uncovered court documents that reveal a Lorain murder suspect was once ordered to undergo "anger management" classes.
Albert Fine, 30, is fighting extradition to Ohio after the body of his girlfriend was found last week hidden in a storage closet at their Lorain apartment. The coroner's office said it believed the body had been inside for at least a month.
Fine was arrested in Lexington, Ky. the day after the body of 26-year-old Catherine "Kat" Hoholski was discovered. The couple had a 5-month old daughter.
Meanwhile, a check of court records revealed that Fine was ordered to undergo "anger management" classes in 2010 after being sentenced on a misdemeanor assault charge involving another victim.
He was given probation and a temporary protection order was issued, barring him from contact with the victim.
Records show Fine completed the classes after attending three sessions and the case was closed in April 2011.
An extradition hearing is scheduled in a Lexington, Ky. courtroom on Friday.
