CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio - The investigation into the murder of a popular Cleveland Heights restaurant owner intensified Thursday as investigators questioned suspects with possible gang ties.
Jim Brennan,61, died after being shot during what police described as an attempted robbery last Monday.
The Brennan's Colony owner died later at the hospital.
Sources now confirm that at least five suspects are being questioned and police are looking into whether any have gang affiliations.
The first suspect was picked up by police on Monday just hours after the shooting. The fifth suspect was taken into custody late Wednesday. All range in age from 20-30 years of age.
Sources also say some of those being questioned will be charged in connection with Brennan's murder.
