Amended complaint against Jimmy Haslam's Pilot Flying J includes new charges, trucking companies

KNOXVILLE - Attorneys for trucking companies suing Cleveland Browns' owner Jimmy Haslam's Pilot Flying J have added new companies and charges to their complaint.

Three additional trucking companies, Golden Carriers LLC, of Troy, Ala., Glazier Trucking, of Kiefer, Okla., and Blachowske Truck Line, of South Dakota, allege cheating.

Attorneys are before a Knoxville judge Monday morning to ask him to stop Haslam from contacting trucking companies in an effort to resolve disputed payments.

One of the new charges leveled against Pilot Flying J is racketeering. The complaint also alleges mail fraud, wire fraud and breach of contract.

The amended complaint describes Pilot Flying J as an enterprise with a scheme to defraud.

Attorneys for Pilot Flying J say the company has done nothing wrong.

The two added companies bring the total number in the complaint up to five, with more expected to come forward.
