ORRVILLE, Ohio - Fire crews battled a fire that significantly damaged two buildings in downtown Orrville early Thursday morning.
The fire started at about 4:15 a.m. inside Jerry's Café, located in the 200 block of West Market St. The flames then spread to the neighboring building, Runion's Furniture Store.
Nobody was injured in the fire.
Both buildings sustained significant damage, and the roof of the furniture store caved in. The merchandise inside the store also sustained heavy smoke and water damage, according to fire officials.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
