CLEVELAND - Restaurateur Zack Bruell announced Wednesday a new restaurant concept to open in downtown Cleveland.
According to a press release, the 8,500-square-foot eatery named Kafeteria is a reinvention of a traditional cafeteria that will "provide restaurant-quality food in a casual, self-service setting." It is slated to open in December.
The restaurant, to open on the third floor of 200 Public Square, will serve breakfast and lunch. Breakfast items will include coffee, pastries, fresh granola, yogurt and breakfast sandwiches. Lunch items will include artisan pizzas, braised meats and custom-made sandwiches. Kafeteria will also feature a noodle station, salad bar and a smoothie and juice bar with seasonal, fresh ingredients.
"The food we create at Kafeteria will be held to the same high standard that we hold in my individual restaurants," said Bruell in a press release. "Quality, convenience and value will all be emphasized."
Bruell also behind the popular dining destinations Table 45, L'Albatros, Chinato and Cowell & Hubbard. He recently opened Dynomite located in Star Plaza, his first fast-casual concept.
The eatery will be open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
