CLEVELAND - Bullets went flying through a plant on Bradley Road in Cleveland when a machine used to make ammunition caught on fire, fire officials say.
Just after 9 p.m. Tuesday, a worker near the machine was burned on his arms and chest when his shirt also caught fire, Cleveland fire spokesman Larry Gray said. The worker was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center.
Two others were injured, but Gray was waiting on more information from the battalion chief.
According to Gray, firefighters were forced to hide behind a wall so they could safely continue spraying water on the blaze.
Gray said the business, River Recycling Industries, is listed as a recycling plant.
