West Side Market to close for 4 days for work on building's grease trap

CLEVELAND - Cleveland's West Side Market will be closed from Sunday, April 27 to Wednesday, April 30 while crews work on the building's grease trap.

Part of $1.4 million in improvements to the building, the work is expected to prevent backups and improve access for future maintenance.

Other improvements to be made to the building include work on the restrooms, electrical and plumbing upgrades and roof and elevator repairs.
