This week construction crews started working on phase 1 of the West Side Market parking lot improvement project.
Crews began work on the Hick's Lot, west of West 24th Street.
Notices will be posted to notify drivers which portion of the lots will be off limits.
The parking lot improvement project aims to reconfigure and expand the lots behind West Side Market, creating 128 additional spaces.
