CLEVELAND - A high school student suffered a cut Thursday afternoon after a fight with another student.
The altercation took place in a bathroom at Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School. Cleveland police said the 14-year-old victim was cut on his leg with a razor blade.
The victim was taken to the hospital and treated before returning to school.
The school released the following statement:
"We had an incident of which a student received a minor injury today. The student is fine and in school. The school is open and classes are in session. We are working to determine the details."
Students and staff were informed of the incident and the victim's parents were notified.
The identity of the second student involved in the altercation is unknown, school officials said.
