CLEVELAND - One University Hospitals patient exchanged vows with his fiancée from his hospital bed Tuesday with the help of hospital staff.
Mark Gillette, 47, said "I do" to his new wife Samantha Carpenter, 31, from his room at the Medical Intensive Care Unit at UH.
Gillette was diagnosed with lung cancer last September and has been undergoing several treatments.
His cancer is now in its advanced stages so the couple decided to tie the knot.
The wedding ceremony was complete with cake and music with help from the medical staff, social workers, a chaplain and music therapists.
