Eight people were injured in four separate shootings in six hours across Cleveland Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Gunfire first erupted at 7:52 p.m. Monday on the city's Southeast Side when a 16-year-old male was shot in the stomach and finger, according to a Cleveland police news release.

Officers located the teenager on a lawn in the 3800 block of East 149th Street shortly after they arrived. Witnesses told police the teenager was with a group of other males in Glendale Park before the shooting occurred.

The teenager told police he was shot with a .45 caliber handgun by a man. He refused to speak further with police regarding the shooting, according to a police report.

Two shotgun shell casings were found in the area of the shooting and park. A third shell casing was later found.

About 10 minutes later, a second shooting was reported involving four teenagers and a 30-year-old man.

The shooting occurred as the man exited Glenville Grocery Store when a Ford silver four-door car with black rims drove by and fired 10 shots, according to a police report.

The shooting was caught on the store's video surveillance.

The shooting occurred at 8:04 p.m.

Officers roped off the area of East 105th Street and Ostend Avenue to investigate the shooting. Two girls and two boys suffered gunshot wounds to the leg.

Separately, a 24-year-old man was shot in the side at 11:52 p.m. in the 4100 block of East 93rd Street. He was taken to University Hospital to be treated for his injuries.

The most recent shooting occurred at 1:22 a.m. Tuesday. A 20-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the arm in the 13000 block of Chapelside Avenue.

The shootings have been a continuation from a deadly weekend when Devin Price, 17, was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting at a school playground.

No arrests have been made in either of the shootings. Police continue to investigate each incident and the death of Price.

The city has recorded 15 homicides as of Tuesday morning.
