Three injured in apartment building fire on Clifton Boulevard in Cleveland

Three people were injured in a fire at an apartment building at the corner of West 112th Street and Clifton Boulevard just after 3:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Cleveland EMS said that two people were in critical condition and a third person was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

When Cleveland firefighters arrived they found fire shooting from two windows on the west side of the second floor of the multi-unit apartment building.

Within a few minutes, firefighters brought the flames under control as EMS medics began to tend to the victims.

Clifton Boulevard was closed from West 117th Street to West 110th Street.

Cleveland firefighters said they did not yet know what caused the fire.
