The Cleveland Museum of Art prepares to unveil its new atrium, after a series of renovations

CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Museum of Art is getting ready to unveil the latest in its major renovation: its new atrium, which officially opens on Sunday.

To herald the event, NewsChannel5 anchor Lee Jordan plans to be live at the museum for Live On Five and NewsChannel5 At 6:00 on Thursday evening.

According to the museum's website, the new atrium was conceived by architect Rafael Vinoly as a centerpiece of the design for the museum's vast renovation.

The official atrium opening is Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with remarks at 2 p.m.
