Suspect photo released after 82-year-old Cleveland man attacked, wife kidnapped on Victory Boulevard

Home invasion suspect tried to use stolen card

CLEVELAND - Cleveland police released photos of a suspect in the home invasion and kidnapping of an 80-year-old woman.

On June 17, three men assaulted an 82-year-old man and his wife at their Victory Boulevard home, and threatened the couple with a gun.

The men restrained the husband with duct tape while kidnapping his 80-year-old wife. Police said the woman was later found in the trunk of the suspect's car.

The couple was taken to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Then on June 18, a man tried to use the victims' stolen credit card at a gas station at West 117th Street and Bellaire Road. Cleveland police said the man got out of the passenger's side of a Nissan Versa before attempting to use the credit card.

The suspect was wearing a white T-shirt, red pants and black shoes.
