The Cuyahoga County prosecutor announced Friday a $25,000 reward is available for information in two deadly east side shootings.

Prosecutor Tim McGinty said they are offering $25,000 to anyone who can provide information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the shooting deaths of 5-month-old Aavielle Wakefield and a 10-year-old boy.

Thursday, Aavielle was shot as someone opened fire on the car she was sitting in near East 143rd Street and Kinsman Road. Her grandmother and sister who were also in the car were not injured.

On Sept. 19, a 10-year-old boy was shot in the shoulder in a shooting on Martin Luther King Drive. Police said a suspect approached the vehicle and shot into the car, then fled. The boy's 30-year-old father was killed in that shooting.
