Petitti Garden Centers and ScottsMiracle-Gro are excited to announce the 2016 "Lend a Hand" campaign benefitting Cleveland Clinic Children's.

Beginning April 1 through July 31, Petitti's will give shoppers an opportunity to add a donation of $1, $5 or $10 to their Petitti's purchase and ScottsMiracle-Gro will match it up to a total of $50,000.

In 2015, Petitti’s and ScottsMiracle-Gro made over a $100,000 contribution to Cleveland Clinic Children’s through this campaign.

To kick-off the program, Petitti’s, ScottsMiracle-Gro and Cleveland Clinic Children’s patients will plant seeds of hope and healing during a garden therapy workshop on April 19 at 10:45 a.m. The event will be held at Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital for Rehabilitation located at 2801 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., Cleveland, Ohio 44104. Pediatric patients will decorate flower pots to sprout their own spring seedlings.

"Cleveland Clinic Children's offers incredible support to its patients and their families," said A.J. Petitti, President of Petitti Garden Centers. "We are excited to partner with ScottsMiracle-Gro to help these amazing children. We're so fortunate to have this gem right in our backyard."

The “Lend-A-Hand” campaign was launched by Petitti Garden Centers in 2010. Each spring, Petitti shoppers are asked to make a donation at the time of checkout to support Cleveland Clinic Children’s. ScottsMiracle-Gro, the first manufacturing partner to be a part of this pioneering program, committed to make a dollar-for-dollar match of all donations made by Petitti customers.

“We are thrilled to partner again with Petitti Garden Centers and their generous customers to help make a difference at Cleveland Clinic Children’s,” says Phil Jones, Senior Vice President, North America Sales and International, ScottsMiracle-Gro. “Supporting our communities is the foundation of our culture at ScottsMiracle-Gro.”
