A Parma mother called 911 on Monday after her 12 and 13-year-old daughters told her what happened to them as they walked home from a nearby soccer game.

"A white van with two males approached them and said would you beautiful ladies like a ride home, and they said no, and the guy kept asking her why not, and they didn't respond, and the guy got out of the van and started chasing them,” said they’re mother who did not want to be identified after being left shaken by the incident.

The alleged incident happened just after 7 p.m.

The girls gave Parma police a description of the two men.

"The man who got out of the van is described as a white male 30 to 40 years of age wearing a black shirt with gray and green colored pants and brown hair, the driver of the van is also a white male 30 to 40 years of age also with brown hair a black shirt and one of the girls believes he may have had a tattoo on his right arm,” said Lt. Kevin Riley.

"Thank God I taught my daughters if anyone wants to get them in a car tell them no and run, my kids aren't safe, they can't walk no where no more by themselves,” their mother said.

Lt. Riley said if possible children should walk in groups, and always be aware of their surroundings.

Police said there have been no other reports.
