Panera Bread opens first drive thru location in Cleveland area; gives out free items

NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio - The restaurant chain Panera Bread is opening its first drive thru location in the Cleveland area and the company is rewarding its early customers with gifts Tuesday morning.

The North Ridgeville location will open Tuesday at 10 a.m. at 32305 Lorain Rd., which is between Interstate 480 and the Ohio Turnpike.

"Our convenient drive-thru, fresh food, warm ambiance, and free Wi-Fi offer an ideal dining experience for North Ridgeville and its neighboring communities," owner Sam Covelli said in a release.

To celebrate the opening, the first 500 customers will receive a free travel mug with two weeks of free coffee (dine-in only). Also, on Tuesday and Wednesay, customers who purchase a You-Pick-Two meal will receive a $5 gift card.
