CLEVELAND - A R&B Music Hall of Fame and Museum is in the works for Cleveland.
A mobile exhibit went on display Wednesday, at 8003 Broadway Ave. in Cleveland. But organizers hope to create a permanent R&B Music Hall of Fame and Museum can be built in the city.
Leo's Casino, which has been a venue for R&B and Motown artists for decades, is sponsoring the museum plans.
The idea of the museum is to celebrate the accomplishments of R&B musicians through the years. The museum would also feature interactive exhibits and restaurants.
The target site to build the museum would be East 49th Street and Central Avenue in Cleveland, which was the site of the first Leo's Casino.
