CLEVELAND - A day after her powerful victim impact statement in court, Michelle Knight surprised neighbors with a visit on Seymour Avenue Friday morning.
Knight hugged neighbors, thanked them for their support and took pictures with neighbors and well wishers.
Neighbor Altagracia Tejeda who lives directly across the street from where Knight, Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus were held captive and escaped, took photos with Knight Friday.
The photos were taken by Catherine Adames.
Adames said Knight was "friendly, cute and I noticed her remarkable strength as a person who has been through so, so much," Adames said.
Adames said Knight told her she hopes a park with a statue of an angel replaces the Seymour Avenue house when it's torn down.
Multiple sources tell NewsChannel 5 the house will be cleared away sometime next week.
