Downtown Cleveland continues to see its revitalization grow in leaps, bounds and ... grilled cheese?

Melt Bar & Grilled, the popular gourmet grilled cheese restaurant, will open a new location in the Huntington Building in Public Square.

According to reports, the latest location will be focused on full-service operations, but still feature the quick service concept called "Melt Public Square," similar to how the restaurant functions at Progressive Field and Case Western Reserve University.

“Great things are happening downtown,” says Matt Fish, owner of Melt Bar & Grilled. “And we’re thrilled to open in the heart of Public Square in one of the most iconic buildings in Cleveland! This space has truly been reborn, and we’re excited to be a part of the positive momentum that’s reshaping our city.”

The new location will debut Monday, Sept. 12 with regular business hours Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Melt's expansion into Public Square is the latest in a number of new locations. The restaurant has recently opened a new building in Akron, as well as two in Columbus.

Melt Bar & Grilled has been featured on national outlets like The Food Network, USA Today, ESPN Magazine, The Boston Globe and The Travel Channel.

Other restaurants will join Melt Public Square in the reimagined Huntington space, according to restaurant officials. Mercato, Urban Kitchen, Solstice Roasters and B + B will be included at Cafe 200 Public Square. The space will be operated by boutique cafe operator Eurest.
