Man driving on Interstate 90 in Cleveland shot twice in leg, bullet holes found in car

CLEVELAND - A man was shot twice in the leg while driving on Interstate 90 in Cleveland early Tuesday morning.

The incident happened in the westbound lanes near West 44th Street just before 2 a.m., the police report said.

The victim told police the shots came from a black Chevrolet HHR. There were five bullet holes in the victim's car and two pellets struck him in the leg, the police report said.

The victim, a 44-year-old Elyria man, was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center.

Police said a zone car chased the HHR, but lost it. The victim was unable to provide a description of the shooter.
