A man is dead after getting shot by his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend Tuesday morning.
According to Cleveland police, witnesses say 22-year-old Joshua Bady entered his ex-girlfriend's home and walked upstairs to a second-floor bedroom where she and her current boyfriend, 26-year-old Andre Miles were hiding with the child she and Bady shared.
After Bady kicked in the door to the bedroom, Miles saw Bady in the doorway with a knife in his hand. Miles brandished a handgun and told Bady to leave. He refused and approached Miles, and Miles shot him.
Police found Bady laying in the kitchen with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to University Hospitals where he died from his injuries.
Miles is a concealed-carry permit holder and his ex-girlfriend has filed several criminal complaints on Bady, according to Cleveland police.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
