Local memorials pop up for Steve Jobs

WESTLAKE, Ohio - Memorials for Steve Jobs have popped up at local Apple Stores, as residents pay tribute to the company's visionary.

Flowers and other memorials have been left at the Apple Stores at Crocker Park and Legacy Village.

Candles burned outside the Apple Store at Crocker Park early Thursday morning. Along with the candles, a picture of Jobs was surrounded by flowers and a balloon with the words, "We will miss you."

The Legacy Village Apple Store had a handwritten note that read, "Thank you Steve," signed with the initials PB. Keeping the note from blowing away was a McIntosh Apple and flowers.

Millions took to Facebook and Twitter to remember the man that changed so much for so many.
