Bars, restaurants, hotels and shops are all cashing in from the Cleveland Cavaliers' epic run in the NBA Finals.
Fans flooded the streets and stores downtown for Game 6 on Thursday night, heading down before tipoff. They kept celebrating well into the night after an incredible win.
Spots around Quicken Loans Arena and E. 4th St. are always packed on game days, but the impact spreads far and wide.
Over on W. 25th St. in Ohio City, bar and restaurant owner Sam McNulty said they call it the "LeBron effect."
"Not just the financial boon, but the psychological effect it has. Clevelanders are so excited, they're going into the weekend just optimistc," McNulty said.
In Lakewood, GV Art + Design released a new Game 7 shirt to crowds of people in the store. The shop is typically closed on Sundays but will open for the last game of the Finals.
"We can't keep stuff in stock," said co-owner Greg Vlosich. "You try to prepare but you have no idea what to expect."
