Largest freshman class in Cleveland State history moves in

CLEVELAND - Cleveland State University will welcome its largest freshman class in the school's history for the 2012 – 2013 school year.

The university held student move-in day this weekend.

Incoming freshmen moved in Saturday morning. Other new students will move in Saturday afternoon and returning students will move in on Sunday.

Approximately 1,550 freshmen will join the student body at CSU this year.

The school said it's seeing more students enroll from outside of northeast Ohio.

"Just looking around, you're seeing license plates from N.Y. and Virginia and Indiana, so it's not just Cleveland," said CSU spokesman Joe Mosbrook. "It's people from all over the region who are recognizing what's going on here."
