Funeral services set for Cleveland firefighter Lt. William Walker who was shot, killed

CLEVELAND - A civil service honoring slain Cleveland Fire Lt. William Walker will be held at Cleveland's Public Auditorium & Conference Center on Monday.

Walker, a 15-year veteran of the department, was shot dead in his driveway Sunday. Police are searching for the killer.

A Masonic service will be held Saturday, Nov. 9 at 9 a.m. at the E.F. Boyd & Son Funeral Home and Crematory, 15357 Euclid Ave. Calling hours are Saturday, Nov. 9 from 1 to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A civil service will be held Monday, Nov. 11, at 2 p.m. at the City of Cleveland's Public Auditorium & Conference Center, 500 Lakeside Ave.

Family will receive friends at the conference center at 1 p.m. on Monday.
