First phase of Global Center for Health Innovation to debut in downtown Cleveland

CLEVELAND - The future of downtown Cleveland is taking a turn.

Phase one of The Global Center for Health Innovation opens Tuesday. It used to be called the "medical mart." It's a different name but same concept.

The ribbon cutting is Tuesday at 2 p.m.

The Global Center is an interactive showcase of medical products and services. This is an idea center and not just for medical minds.

It will also focus on the future of healthcare and what we can look ahead to in this country.

This is only phase one. The full center will open to the public in February.
