Cleveland firefighters battled a two-alarm fire at a vacant two-story commercial building in the 6000 block of Woodland Avenue just before 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.

When fire crews arrived they found fire shooting from the roof near the rear of the building.

Smoke poured from the boarded up building, filling the area with smoke.

After about 30 minutes the roof began to collapse, sending flames high into the early morning sky.

No injuries were reported.

The cause is under investigation.

Woodland Avenue was closed from East 55th Street to East 66th Street.
