CLEVELAND - The final steel beam was installed on the new Cuyahoga County Administration Headquarters at East 9th Street and Prospect Avenue Monday in a topping off ceremony.
The new headquarters is part of the County's property consolidation project which officials say will save taxpayer money. It is scheduled to open in July of 2014. Some 750 county employees will work in the building.
The old Administration Building is slated to be knocked down and become a Hilton Hotel. It will be 30 stories tall and have 600 to 650 rooms and attach underground to the new convention center.
